the resilience of roses project
Only 3 sculptures are in this series. My “Resilience of Roses” wearable bodices are armor – they contain, they protect, they shape, they express. They symbolize personal strength, beauty, balance, and resilience in equal measure in the face of life’s challenges. I deal with the disabling vagaries of MS, which were the impetus for this series.
Roses, with their sweetly scented delicate blossoms are balanced by their strong thorned vines. …Roses + corsets = beauty + strength
