PENDULUM
“We swing our pendulum right and left in search of stable ground. Overtaken by our fantasies and desires, we pull up our stakes and ride torrentially unleashed. _Full on searching, trees thrashing as we speed by, the thunder and wind scolding our ears and eyes._ No solace found here in this country fomenting greed and lust. We speak longingly of days gone by, and yet, those days were not retrospectively conceived. We sway onward shakily seeking purchase while days are born and then die. Tomorrow and tomorrow we linger and wait. And hope seems a fragile element suspended.”
